Why we started – The Parallel story

Parallel was born from a decade of building and managing offshore teams for high-growth SMEs. Since 2012, we’ve seen how the industry works from the inside, and we realised that traditional offshoring wasn’t built for the unique needs of small businesses. The legacy providers were often rigid, impersonal, and carried unnecessary overhead that didn’t add value to the client.

We built Parallel to bridge that gap—creating a “modern offshoring” model that prioritises what actually matters to a scaling business: cost efficiency, high-calibre talent, total transparency, and iron-clad compliance.

While the industry has historically relied on expensive office hubs, we’ve evolved. The Parallel pricing model offers simplicity and transparency. You have clear visibility into what you’re paying for, and equally important, you know how much your employees are being compensated.

Salary

The base salary of the employee plus the mandatory 13th month and any holiday pay.

Benefits

Add on any benefits such as an internet allowance or private health insurance

Government

Gov fees

We will disburse the mandatory government fees.

Parallel

Management Fee

Parallel charges a small monthly fee per employee to cover HR and payroll management.
